When that same level of care is seen throughout the organization it makes me question the point of a podcast that does, at the end of the day bring nothing new or exciting to the community. My point being, that it is hard to enjoy something that doesn’t feel like it’s hosts care about the audience, their own corporation, the quality, the content, or even seem to enjoy doing the show for that matter. A logo which is then plastered all over videos and other online media. This seeming lack of care also carries over to their RSI corporation page, which has an immediate spelling error right in the banner logo. At a minimum please edit out any dead air. This has led to several long pauses in conversation leading to dead air, which feels awkward at best. Many (if not all) of the hosts seem to be too distracted playing the game while recording rather than focusing on the content or production quality. There very rarely seems to be a dedicated solid plan as to what is being discussed and simply feels more like random banter around a very loose outline of topics that someone decided to record and put up online.
I realize that all of this is likely done with free time and is meant to be a fun way to interact with the wider community and their corporation. The hosts do seem to have genuine chemistry, have good voices and clearly love aspects of Star Citizen. I would like to start off by saying that I want to like this podcast, and there are enjoyable aspects. I’ve tried giving this podcast a few episodes before submitting a review, however I’ve just not been able to enjoy it. The crew is back to discuss IAE, SCL, and much, much more.
